Top 5 Christmas Music Videos

I hate Christmas songs since they play them everywhere right after Thanksgiving. But here are the top 5 videos anyone can endure.

Bowie and Crosby - Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy

Wham! - Last Christmas

Band Aid - Do they know it's Christmas

Santa's Little Helpers - Jingle Bell Rock

Pussycat Dolls and Snoop Dogg - Santa Baby

and honorable mention goes to The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping. I can't believe they didn't have the video on YouTube

Muscle car battle! Viper vs Vette.

Wow I didn't know Dodge lost the rights to the Viper name - what a bunch of dolts. Anyways it looks like the Fifth Gear guys have formulated that a drag race, a drift contest, and a little track time wins the battle - I can't argue with that.

Unfortunately it is not the Z06 Vette that is tested against the brawny Viper or else the results would be very different.

But don't take my word for it since I would never drive a Corvette.

Audi RS4 vs BMW M3 CS

Part 1 - Straight line drag race

Part 2 - Drifting and One lap race

Engine: In-line 6-cyl, 3246cc, 24v
Max power: 338bhp @ 7900rpm
Max torque: 269lb ft @ 5000rpm
0 - 60mph: 5.1sec
Top Speed: 155mph (limited)

Audi RS4
Engine: EngineV8, 4163cc, 32v, direct injection
Max power: 414bhp @ 7800rpm
Max torque: 317lb ft @ 5500rpm
0 - 60mph: 4.8sec (claimed)
Top Speed: 155mph (limited)

As you can see the massive power and grip of the Audi overwhelms the BMW, but the BMW seemed more fun and easier to drive but just not enough power. The results would probably be different on a dry track with less straight-aways.

Let's see what BMW can do with the E92 M3 and it's V8...

Thanks Fifth Gear and YouTube!

VW Golf GT Twincharger - I may start liking Golfs again.

Is this the first production twin charger (turbo + super charger) system? I believe it is unless someone did a gasoline / steam engine in the past. The car uses a 1.4 liter engine and adds 2 power adders which are shut off when not needed. This gives us a 38mpg car which can turn fun!

I can't wait for the aftermaket to get their hands on this car. I wonder what monstrosity will come about. Go VW go!

Shooting Brakes - I love these cars!

The car is a shooting brake, which was conceived to take gentlemen on the hunt with their firearms and dogs. While the name has been loosely applied to station wagons in general, the most famous shooting brakes had custom two-door bodies fitted to the chassis of pedigreed cars from the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce.

Although the shooting brake’s glory days came before World War II, and it has faded from the scene in recent decades, the body style is showing signs of a renaissance as automakers seek to invent (or reinvent) new kinds of vehicles for consumers constantly on the hunt for the next new thing.BMW M Coupe

Aston Martin DB5
Volvo P1800ES

I love these cars! Very practical for a single person...but very sporty.

BMW E30 M3 vs Lancia Delta Integrale

Tiff Needle drives the legendary e30m3 against the rally legend, Lancia Delta. And here is the Colt CZT vs Fiesta ST.

The new flagship turbocharged 150 bhp Colt CZT was built for customers who want dynamic performance, with affordability. Built in Japan with a specifically developed 1.5litre MIVEC DOHC 16 valve intercooled turbocharged engine which develops 150 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 210 Nm of torque @ 3500 rpm.

Oh my how the mighty has fallen.

European Presents!

My girl got back from Prague and Budapest and this is what she got me! I sent her an email to bring me back a big bottle of Absinthe, but she didn't get it in time. In the sad news department, customs confiscated 4 sausages from her uncle that he bought in Hungary. Each cost $65. :(

Green Tea is Purple!

So I went to the grocery store and pay they had a sale on green tea. I picked up a couple of boxes thinking this was a great deal. I brew some up today and it's purple! It's Salada green tea with purple antioxidant! No wonder it was extra fragrant in the box! Wish me luck on my first sip.

The meanest wagon around - Mercedes Benz E63 AMG

Engine 6,208-cc AMG-built DOHC 32-valve V-8. High-pressure die-cast alloy cylinder block with twin-wire arc sprayed coating on running surfaces.

Net power 507 hp @ 6,800 rpm

Wow this is one amazing wagon!

Why does the Puma Shoe for Mongolian BBQ have to be so UGLY?!

Why did Puma pick such an ugly shoe to be the canvas for the custom sneaker crowd? Here is the base shoe used for

It's pointy and narrow and looks disgusting. Why not pick other shoes that are more stylish?

What about the Sky II Demi's? It has so many things to color that a custom one would definitely be different from each other!

I'm sure we can outdesign Puma's hired gun Yasuhiro Mihara if they let us work with the Suede as a starting point. This shoe below is being marketed and it's a mess.

What about custom Speed Cats?! What a beautiful simple and purposeful shoe! Making one to you personal taste would just add to how popular this shoe is.

Puma please get your act straight with Mongolian BBQ! You are letting the custom sneaker market slip away from your hands.

BMW 760li Hydrogen

Here is BMW's 760li long wheelbase sedan powered by hydrogen. It is available to a select few who can lease the car. It develops 260hp without any harmful emissions, just water. It can do 0-60 in 9.5 secs. On one tank full of hydrogen, the car can travel in a range of 124mi (200km). But it can run on gasoline. This is the first hydrogen production car. Honda is thinking about mass producing their FCX concept to follow the trend.

What do you think of an Apple iPhone, the iPods of cellular phones?

It's projected that 460 million cell phones will be sold in 2006. And now Apple wants a bite of that pie. The picture above, from, is a concept image of the iPhone . It will most likely be introduced at Macworld January 2007.

Forbes reports on 11.14.06
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd (2317.TW) has secured contracts from Apple Computer for 12 mln mobile handsets that also function as music players, the Commercial Times quoted industry sources as saying. Apple hopes to tap into the 60 million iPod buyers each quarter to market the new iPhone. And hopefully it will fare better than the failed Motorola ROKR with iTunes.

Apple faces heavy competition from established brands like Sony Ericsson, which has a popular line of Walkman branded phones.

Will iTunes and the iPod connection be enough to make the iPhone a success?
