So it's the old cars vs bikes argument. Well it's not really a race but 3 awesome vehicles playing around on the public road in Germany. I'm not sure which year Yamaha R1 it is, but lets assume it's the latest one MY2007. So it's the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Porsche Carrera GT, and the Yamaha R1 vs the public road. James May, from Top Gear, tests a standard production Bugatti Veyron with 1001 hp to confirm manufacturers top speed claim of 253 mph. The test was done a VW's secret test track named Ehra-Lessien. You can see it here . This car is amazing, I just wish they would enter it in the 24 hours of LeMans. It's where true supercars are tested.

In an ideal world Lotus would have access to the power of VW and the Elise, but it is not ideal. I can see a redesign of the Elise and Exige would phase out the Toyota 1.8L engine in favor of a VW 3.2L V6. Goodbye my friend. Hopefully this will make the Proton Elise/Exige more desirable.

Is this the first production twin charger (turbo + super charger) system? I believe it is unless someone did a gasoline / steam engine in the past. The car uses a 1.4 liter engine and adds 2 power adders which are shut off when not needed. This gives us a 38mpg car which can turn fun! I can't wait for the aftermaket to get their hands on this car. I wonder what monstrosity will come about. Go VW go!

You've read the articles now here's the video. I love the Touareg and it's v10 diesel engine. I believe it to be the bets SUV at the moment. Although Lamborghini is testing a new SUV.
